-- The Problem
Most organizations don't fail for lack of talent.
They fail because their structure makes it impossible for talented people to act fast enough when it matters most.
Analysis paralysis. The bystander effect. The gap between departments where a clear problem sits untouched because nobody is sure whose job it is. Loose Ball, My Ball is built around that specific, costly, recurring problem, and the discipline that solves it.
Drawn from more than thirty years building and commanding the communication lifelines for the nation's most elite forces, this is not classroom theory. It is what actually works when the pressure is real and there is no margin for error.
"In times of turbulence, the greatest danger is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic."
— Peter Drucker, quoted in the book
-- The Three Pillars
A framework that came from the field, not the faculty.
Three standards that mean the same thing whether you are a captain on the ice, a soldier in a denied area, or an executive in the boardroom.
PILLAR 01
Refusing Excuses
Find a Way
When something isn't working, you don't spend energy explaining why. You spend energy making it work. Constraints are real. So is the mission.
PILLAR 02
Eliminating Friction
Don't Be That Guy
The person who creates drag for everyone around them. Great teams are built by people who reduce friction instead of adding it.
PILLAR 03
Purposeful Accountability
Give the Business
Honest, direct accountability that closes performance gaps before they grow, delivered with purpose rather than blame.

-- The Three Pillars
Tactical C3I, translated for the boardroom.
Loose Ball, My Ball takes the high-stakes world of Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence and turns it into a practical blueprint for modern leaders.

Velocity through trust: make better decisions faster than your competition can respond.

Own the loose ball: claim the problems that live between departments and titles.

Halt, Fix, Pivot: a method for agile modernization under real constraints.

The Big Five: show up, be ready, stay positive, master the fundamentals, build relationships.
